Nine MQM workers have been brutally killed in Karachi by armed terrorists in four different incidents during 36 hours. According to the details, Muhammad Habib, aged 33, Muhammad Waqas 23, and Muhammad Zaheer 38, were standing at Al-Muhajir Chowk in Orangi Town no.10 Karachi on Wednesday evening, when armed terrorists opened fire on them,resulting in the death of all three on the spot while another young MQM worker Irfan Qureshi sustained serious injuries. Irfan Qureshi was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where his condition is said to be critical.
On Wednesday, in another incident, in Meraj un Nabi Colony, an area of Orangi Town, armed terrorists open fired on MQM workers, in resulting, Two workers Sarfraz Ali S/O Abid Ali and Raza S/O Mohammad Iqbal were died.
Third incident of wanton terrorism, in Scheme 33 Maymar Sector, an MQM worker Shahbaz Qureshi, was killed by the terrorists belonging to ANP, land and drug mafia.
On Tuesday, three MQM workers were killed by armed terrorists in Mohamoodabad Karachi. After Wednesday incidents, Nine MQM workers have been brutally killed in Karachi by armed terrorists in four different incidents during 36 hours.This situation has created grief and anger in the public.
In Gulshan-e-Iqbal Karachi, ANP terrotists fired on MQM worker Raza Ali, who seriously injured and shifted to the hospital. Members of the MQM Co-ordination Committee Wasay Jalil, Wasim Aftab and other office-bearers and workers of the party reached Abbasi Shaheed Hospital soon after hearing the sad news of the killings of the MQM workers. They consoled the workers and advised them to remain peaceful.
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has offered his sincere condolences on the killing of MQM workers in Orangi Town and another in Scheme 33 Maymar Sector. Muhammad Habib s/o Muhammad Rafi, Muhammad Waqas s/o Muhammad Arif and Muhammad Zaheer s/o Muhammad Zaheer belonged to unit 125 of Qasba Aligarh Sector , Sarfraz Ali S/O Abid Ali and Raza S/O Mohammad Iqbal while Shahbaz Qureshi was a worker of Scheme 33 Maymar Sector. Mr Altaf Hussain expressed his profound grief and sorrow over the tragic death of the MQM workers and sympathized with the grief-stricken family members. He also prayed for the early recovery and good health of the injured workers.
